Dr. darrick lawson

Dr. Darrick Lawson has been freeing people from pain since 1991: first in his clinic in Visalia, California, and since 2000 in Midtown Sacramento, California.

As a skilled and experienced Chiropractor, he is committed to promoting the health and well being of his patients. Dr. Darrick Lawson uses a “whole person approach” when taking care of his patients. By combining the very best hands-on-techniques, state of the art physiotherapy procedures, and the newest and best natural vitamins and mineral supplements on the market today, Dr. Darrick Lawson is able to help you to accelerate your journey to good health.

In his own words, Dr. Darrick Lawson states:

“It has always been my goal to provide a place for healing. I approach chiropractic from the knowledge that every function in your body is under the direct control of your brain and nerve system. All body systems, such as digestion, immunity, circulation, elimination, only occur if the brain sends the appropriate signal. When misalignments (“subluxations”) of the spine occur, this can block the ability of the brain to communicate to the cells of the body. This pinching of the spinal nerves doesn’t always result in pain. Science tells us that only 10% of our body’s nerves feel pain. You see, a digestive nerve only digests, it does not feel pain. A nerve for taste only tastes, it doesn’t feel pain. Therefore, if your subluxations are putting pressure on the 90% of nerves that do not feel pain, severe health conditions can still be the result of misalignment.”

“Simply put, if your brain cannot communicate with the organs and systems of your body, you will not be able to function to your highest potential. This is a tragedy.

“No matter your health condition, it makes sense to ensure that you have full nerve flow to each and every cell of your body for optimal health and happiness. We use multiple techniques to accomplish this goal. My chiropractic techniques include diversified hands-on adjusting, biophysics correctional adjusting, as well as light and non-force techniques. I hope you will call today for an immediate appointment! The consultation is always FREE!”

DR. DANIEL MILLER

Dr. Daniel Miller brings passion for getting you better the fastest way possible! From Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he came to The Healing Touch Chiropractic to help you eliminate pain and regain fitness. He believes everyone from the weekend warrior, elite athlete, and stay at home parent, can find true balance in motion with less pain during activity. Whether you’re running a marathon, sitting behind your desk, or driving your kids to practice. He loves seeing you do what you love with ease.

Once riddled with pain as adolescent athlete, and after being told he’d have to live with his pain from his orthopedic surgeon, he made trips to his chiropractor as his last resort. At the age of 14, he discovered that chiropractic care helped to finally restore him to a pain free range of motion with all activities. After the first visit he found more relief than any other medical remedy and viewed chiropractic care as the first choice in treatment – rather than a ‘last resort alternative method.’

Amazed with the quality and speed of his recovery, Dr. Daniel Miller’s new-found freedom led him to pursue chiropractic care as a profession. After high school, he studied at the University of Pittsburgh and at Palmer Colleges of Chiropractic in both Iowa and Florida nurturing his curiosity in the movement of people. At age 24, he was the youngest graduate in his class from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. Dr. Daniel Miller is a “true” Palmer graduate.

Every day in practice is a reminder of his true calling in life – helping everyone achieve quality, pain-free movement, while achieving a true sense of wellness. Dr. Daniel Miller says, “Although pain is the first thing I treat here in the office, the goal is to get you moving better. From there, I can then assume the role I was suited for as your ‘coach’ and guide you on the road to better health and wellness. We’re all individuals that require different path to health and it is my pleasure to help you down the road to wellness!” With extreme success, this passion has led to years of successfully unlocking his patients from pain while improving their quality of life.

Dr. Daniel Miller’s experience practicing in Pittsburgh treating professional athletes and as the team chiropractor for the Robert Morris men’s lacrosse, women’s rowing, and volleyball teams means that he has vast experience with sports related injuries. Physical treatment of the spine and the extremities is his focus. With high levels of successful treatment for many dysfunctions of the spine and extremities, Dr. Daniel Miller is ready to help you! His goal is to help you understand how you can “bounce’ back” with speed and efficiency through chiropractic care.

With a genuine knowledge on how to correct your altered biomechanics, Dr. Daniel Miller is here to discover your dysfunctions in movement. With your activities in mind, he cannot wait to help you eliminate pain and balance your movement as you improve in everything that you do!

meet the dogs

Hugo is elder statesman of Dr. Lawson’s four-legged family, as he has been with us for more than 12 years.  Hugo is always ready for attention, cuddles, and a treat.
Blanche is the mom in our office.  Before joining Dr. Lawson’s family, she was the mother of 9 beautiful puppies, and now takes the nurturing role in our pack.  If she’s not sleeping, she will be more than happy to cuddle with you, and if she does, you will want to take her home.
Levi belongs to Dr. Justin and his wife Corinne and is their youngest of 3 dogs.  We say his breed is ‘Rescued’ but he is some sort of terrier mix, most likely part Yorkie part Chihuahua; no one really knows for sure.
Willie is an enormous and goofy Bloodhound who loves his brothers and sisters very much.  Don’t leave food unattended, because with the strongest nose of any dog, he will find it.  Don’t be alarmed if he barks, because gets a little nervous, and doesn’t like hats, canes and white beards.
Mickey is Cockapoo and the newest addition to Dr. Lawson’s family, and is a laugh a minute.  He enjoys playing fetch with patients, the staff, and you will often find him playing in the hallways with the other members of his family.  He takes naps in the most inappropriate places, so watch where you step – it might not be a rug, but Mickey.
O. G. Is the newest four-legged addition to the team and is a very shy chihuahua mix. Despite his timid demeanor he often comes to work dressed to impress in his bow tie and sweaters.
